Hydrogen is a strategic growth area for Festo. Recognizing its potential, our board has invested significantly in research, product development, and market expansion. To drive this initiative in the Nordic and Baltic regions, we are seeking an entrepreneurial
Business Development Manager to take the lead in this new and strategic role.
You will report to the Sales Manager for Denmark and be part of the Sales Nordic team, with regular travel across the Nordic cluster and occasional visits to Festo Headquarter in Germany and other Festo locations.

Your RoleIn this dual role, you will:
Key Account Management:
- Take ownership of defined target accounts in the hydrogen sector across the Nordic countries.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to drive sales and establish Festo as a trusted partner.
Business Development – Hydrogen:
- Identify and qualify potential customers in the hydrogen sector through business intelligence initiatives.
- Collaborate with Festo colleagues to drive hydrogen projects, providing both technical and commercial support.
- Actively participate in industry events to increase Festo’s visibility and influence within the hydrogen market.
Your ImpactYou will play a essential role in shaping Festo’s presence within the hydrogen market by:
- Leveraging your deep industry knowledge to influence Festo’s product strategy and development.
- Developing innovative solutions for hydrogen customers in close collaboration with our Application Engineers.
- Supporting sales colleagues across the Nordic region with joint visits and technical insights.
About YouWe are looking for someone with:
- Industry Expertise: Knowledge of the process industries environment, with experience in hydrogen, ATEX, SIL, or related fields as an advantage.
- Sales Skills: A proven ability to develop business opportunities and win market share.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive approach to building networks and positioning Festo as a key player in hydrogen.
- Technical Knowledge: The ability to translate complex technical details into compelling business solutions.
- Strategic Communication: Strong presentation skills and the ability to connect details to broader business goals.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent English, both verbal and written.
